Also you find a lot of gold in your playthrough and unlike many other games, gold has great value in the overall gaming experience. So grinding is a thing and is enjoyable because chests, gold, jewels and gear are abundant in the game. Once you complete a zone, you are rewarded with a gem (currency) and you can play through the zone again if you like. You can effectively tap the screen once and give your hand a rest for a few moments while auto-casting does the rest. I was very impressed to see auto-casting after the initial motion to cast is made - until all the monsters in your aggro range are dead. Their abilities definitely make a difference in play style and are a welcome addition to the game. You have companions that come along with you and some that you can purchase with game currency. This type of screen interaction can be a little tough over time on your other hand, as holding the phone/tablet while you furiously swipe can get taxing, but still an innovative way to play a game like this with current day technology. Want to use a frost nova - draw a "V" over the monsters and the spell is cast. Rather than mashing several buttons together on a keyboard or controller, you use swipe gestures to cast your abilities. This gameplay is truly remarkable because of the creative use of touch screen devices. Once you start playing, you'll receive an in-game mail that asks you if you were referred and rewards you with gems (the main currency in the game) for inputting the above code. I've broken my review into three parts: gameplay, crafting and in-app-purchases (IAP.) I've also included my ID code, so if you are new to the game and have read this review, you'll have a chance to say that I referred you and we both get a great reward (my thanks in advance!) My code is: SOME HAWA VUWA 7516. This is a great dungeon crawler in the spirit of the Diablo series and Torchlight.
